A Thought-Provoking Pink Tank!

Supporting the Mayo Pink Ribbon charity, Network Mayo’s finale event featuring The Pink Tank, proved a resounding success. The Pink Tank is an all-woman motivational roadshow featuring renowned, successful businesswomen Nicola Byrne [founder and CEO 11890], Orlaith Carmody [owner of Mediatraining.ie along with husband and Dragon, Gavin Duffy] and Linda O’Shea-Farren [international corporate lawyer and former Government programme manager].

Similar to a ‘panel’ style programme, the three presenters offered candid, open and direct views on audience questions as well as insight and advice. The Mayo audience enjoyed some very upfront and honest interaction from the Pink Tank on various areas of life – from juggling the priorities of business to work/life balance, politics and economics.

The finale event, which was in support of Mayo Pink Ribbon, brings to a close Network Mayo’s “Inspiring Innovation” 2011 schedule. Speaking about the finale, outgoing President Olwen Dawe commented on the year to date “I think we’ve covered all bases with our events this year – we’ve offered training, speakers, networking and local and national awards – Network Mayo really does offer good value for money in terms of its membership. I was delighted to be able to support Mayo Pink Ribbon, The Pink Tank most definitely provided a completely new type of event – thoroughly enjoyable, insightful and honest – we were delighted to host them”.
